I'm so glad you posted this. I've been having it a couple of days a week ever since and I love it. For the last 2 days I replaced the flour with crushed linseeds as I need to eat more of them and I suspected they would do the same job as the flour and they did. It's a great way to use up odds and ends of vegetables too. Thanks - you've changed my breakfast habits for the better!

Glad you liked this one! This truly has become my favorite way of enjoying oatmeal, rather than in the traditional sense. I love your savory version!

I've done something similar, frying up soaked whole oat groats in the morning, and adding fruit to make a sort of compote. It's a little more traditional "breakfast" that way. I like the texture of the oats this way instead of mushy.

looks bizarre - I don't feel terribly adventurous about breakfasts when I see what other bloggers do but I sometimes wish for a way of enjoying oats for breakfast one of those who don't like porridge - will be keeping this idea in mind!
