Breakfast Club: Because breakfast should be more interesting than tea
& toast or coffee & cereal.
Breakfast Club is a new food blogging event hosted by Helen from Fuss
Free Flavours and Sarah from Fingers and Toes. We love breakfast and
want everyone to enjoy better and more interesting breakfasts.
Every month one of us will choose a theme and then post the round up
on the last Sunday of the month.
We hope to get some prizes for future events.
Following her recent holiday to Sri Lanka Sarah made some hoppers and
last weekend held a Sri Lankan breakfast brunch party. I can confirm
that the hoppers were delicious and I want her to make some more for
me.
So the theme for Breakfast Club #1 is ASIAN!
We hope there is lots of scope for ideas here, rice & vegetables, dal
and curry, sushi, miso ….
Deadline is 6pm on the 27th June. We look forward to reading your ideas.
To recap:
Make breakfast inspired by the month’s theme, write about it (please
include a link in your post to both host’s announcement) Sarah’s post is here.
Mail the host for the month, this time it is Helen (Helen at fussfreeflavours dot com) with a link to your post, name of
your blog and a photo (or link to your photo) by 6pm (UK time) on the last Sunday of the month
If you do not have a blog send a recipe and photo to the month’s host
who will include it in the round up.

whoa asian breakfast! this sounds like a hard one.. my heritage is chinese but i have no idea what chinese people eat for breakfast. all i remember from my last trip over there when i was about 10 is that my grandparents ate rice porridge, glass noodles somehow made their way into steamed veggie buns and people walked around in hangzhou wearing colourful pajamas all day..
Great idea! I’ll see what I can do!
Would love to participate. I hope that I don’t forget!! I have a brain like a seive! xxoo

[...] leave a comment » Today is the last day for entries for the very first Breakfast Club, a new event created by myself and Helen of Fuss Free Flavours. The idea is to get bloggers to focus on the first (and some say most important) meal of the day, and to challenge themselves to create more interesting and tasty breakfast. Helen is hosting this month and chose the theme “Asian“. [...]
