Tasting Notes: Lindt Sea Salt Dark Chocolate
These tasting notes are mainly as an aide memoir for me, as I can never remember which brands that I like, or perhaps more importantly do not like. Over time I am hoping to build up a substantial database on my ingredients page.
I love this chocolate which, sadly, I have never seen in the UK. A lovely creamy semi sweet dark chocolate, with flakes of sea salt that explode on your tongue a few seconds after tasting it. Great rich pure chocolate aftertaste that lingers for a good few minutes. A must try! I think it was EUR 1.60, availabe in most French supermarkets. Lindt – please can you sell it in the UK?
UPDATE: I am delighted to report that my local Tesco does sell this! Yipee!

Oooo- I bought some of this last weekend (in…ummm…..tesco!). It was indeed fab!
Ah ha . my local Waitrose is stocking it .. but there is another very similar at rococo chocolates too. I am sure you an ask Waitrose to get it in for you .. it’s £17.5
