These tasting notes are mainly as an aide memoir for me, as I can never remember which brands that I like, or perhaps more importantly do not like. Over time I am hoping to build up a substantial database on my ingredients page.
I’ll add more flavours as I try them!
Coconut
I was quite surprised how much I liked this as I have a bit of a love hate relationship with coconut. It is rich creamy yogurt made with full fat milk, the addition of coconut flakes add texture making the yogurt refreshing despite it also being quite sweet (22.6g sugar / 100g)
This is a live yogurt, 125KCal per 100g.
Great on cereal or by itself.
Fat Free Mango and Apple
Thick and creamy texture for a fat free yogurt with lots of fruity taste and small pieces of mango, really not too sweet. But it is thickened with tapioca starch and sweetened (with fructose, acesulfame-K and sucralose) which leaves an unpleasent coating on my teeth and in my mouth.
This is a live yogurt, 53KCal per 100g.
Great on cereal for breakfast, not so good on its own.
Limited Edition Sicilian Lemon
We loved this one. Thick and creamy, with plenty, but not too much lemon. Delicious. Somehow 6 large pots were scoffed in two weeks.
This is a live yogurt.
107KCal / 100g.
13.7g sugar / 100g
