Like many bloggers / journalists / writers I frequently suffer from death by Press Release, with a groaning inbox on a regular basis. The Jubilee and Olympics are leading to an especially heavy e-mail deluge!
A few favourite or interesting Jubilee bits and bobs are above.
I especially like the Union Flag duck tape – essential to keep on hand for any emergencies which can be fixed by tape at your street parties. Jubilee Soreen is just wonderful, and the paper letter cups from The Letter Room are one of the nicest things I have seen for a while.
Tomorrow I am off to Dublin for a few days on a press trip, then I am taking some much needed time off.

I loved your surprise that us across the water weren’t laden with such pretty Union Jack bunting and the like… Being half-English and beloved of all things Royal after a visit to Windsor Castle at the tender age of 6, I am at one with your Jubilee goodies.
