    Love this challenge, hoping to link up something Welsh as that’s where we usally go on holiday to! Mmn although I could do French or maybe Polish!

    We went to India on holiday last year and had some amazing idli for breakfast. Then again I also lived the Ful we had in Egypt. Hmmmmm

    I just shared a breakfast that always makes me think of holidays growing up. And…um…good thing I went back and read through the description, because I almost made a breakfast that reminded me of the term holiday in the US (easter, christmas, 4th of july, etc…) as opposed to the term holiday (vacation). Doh! That’s my American showing ;P

    Porridge – Plain and Simple – ………So on a trip to the UK a couple of years ago we finished off the holiday with a trip to Edinburgh Scotland and stayed at Dalhousie Castle. The usual hot and cold breakfasts were available, but also there was haggis, black pudding and good old porridge. How could I resist the porridge – when in Rome and all that…….I was not disappointed it was perfect.
