[...] A few food stories that I have been sent in the last week or so. [...] Do Cereal Sheep go “Baa”? [...] I was blogging like mad for all of January, still catching up with the backlog despite having churned out 34 posts! I am bang on track with project to become a good baker with my Great British Bake Off Cookbook Challenge, with 10 out of 121 recipes made. Lots going on in the background [...] [...] A few interesting stories here. Firstly Fairtrade. I think that Fairtrade is hugely important. Millions of people in developing countries reply on the the sale of their crops to the developed world for their livelihood. Over 20 million people are reliant on the tea industry. This is a huge number. Much attention has been paid [...] [...] I hope that this will be the first in a series of regular food related “news round up” posts. I get sent so many e-mails with interesting tidbits of information which I would like to share, but they do not warrant a full post. Hopefully this will help. [...] |
