I was somewhat amused that within a few days of my posting my Fuss Free Coronation Chicken Axel produced a dramatically more complicated version, I love the idea of seasoning the chicken prior to roasting it, then the marinading for maximum flavour, but if I make this it will be for a very special occasion.
I completely agree with Joumana that lentils are God’s perfect food and will be trying her lentil and aubergine salad soon. Delicious, healthy and satisfying which will be perfect for my post France health kick.
Currently it seems that everyone is talking about reducing food waste and I love the thinking behind the Resourceful Cook, a menu planning site which allows you to plan your meals and print a shopping list. The recipes are written to use the amount of fresh ingredients that contained in packets in the shops, so in theory there should be no waste. All the recipes are well written and beautifully photographed and I have bookmarked several to make.
I love Hannah’s writing and photography and greatly enjoyed her post about her first tomato. All her food is mouthwatering and always creative.
