Giveaway (CLOSED): Luxury Tableware & Italian Food Hamper from Bertolli Gold

Tableware prize

Photo is for illustration only

To mark the launch of Bertolli Gold, our friends at Bertolli have given us a luxurious Italian dinner table hamper containing accessories to create a beautifully made table, as well as some delicious food to eat from it. And we will be giving it away to one lucky reader.

With the constant hustle and bustle of daily life, a beautifully laid table tends not to be the highest priority at mealtimes. However even the smallest details can make the most ordinary of meals a little bit special. Whether it’s a crisp white tablecloth, or a shimmering candle, a few finishing touches can make all the difference.

Bertolli Gold is a new spread, which strikes the perfect balance between a low fat spread and an indulgent butter. Made with Bertolli’s finest Mediterranean olive oil, it has 40% less saturated fat than spreadable butter blends, yet maintains a rich, buttery taste. Packaged in a stylish black and gold tub, it will bring a touch of luxury to any dining room table.

One lucky winner will win a host of beautiful gold-themed dining table accessories to decorate your table with, perfect for Christmas, along with a package of luxury Italian deli items and a tub of Bertolli Gold to enjoy.

The approximate value is £375 – and what is inside is luxury food items from an Italian deli – cheese, olives, bread, salami, sun dried tomatoes, coffee and more, a tub of Bertolli Gold, and beautiful accessories to dress your table with including table cloth, table runner, placemats, napkins and candle holders.

Almost certainly I love both pizza and tagliatelle – though I tried a true Italian lasagne when in Florence 2 years ago and it was wonderful!

  25. chris bull says

I love all Italian food but fave has to be Lasagne, made with fresh pasta and tons of peccorino and grated cheddar on top, I cook the sauce very slowly for at least 3 hours (My Italian sister-in-law taught me this) it really does intensify the flavours and there are always empty plates and guests ask for leftovers to take home :-)

  26. Patricia Mathieson says

Any truly Italian pizza is great, eaten sitting in a cobbled street with mopeds zipping around. Failing that, something I’ve never found on offer in the UK, rice balls.

A real Italian Pizza from an italian restaurant! mmmm!! Wonderful prize, whoever wins is going to have a very yummy christmas!

Restaurant Tester — Spaghetti Carbonara..(if a restaurant nails that is a keeper :-))) and obviously a sauce to buy is just the icing for homecooking …

  34. vauna beauvais says

A traditional seafood stew with a little bit of everything from the sea. Shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, and crab meat; seasoned with oregano, thyme and basil. Cooks in 45 minutes. Ladle the soup into bowls and allow the clams to open – serve with warm, crusty bread!
