  1. Tracy Nixon says

I love the Bow Tie pasta – my kids do too – I make it with lots of different sauces and it is quick and easy to cook for a healthy family meal!

  2. Jane Willis says

There’s one called Radiatore (little radiators? that’s what they look like) that does a great job of mopping up any sauce served with it yet keeps its own body and mouth feel. That’s my favourite when I can get it.

  3. Kim Allen says

I love Conchiglie as it’s so versatile, I use it with most of the dishes I make on occasion, I just love it when they get filled with the sauce and you get that extra rush of flavour when you bite through them :-)

  4. Louise Comb says

I have never yet met a pasta that I didn’t like. If I had to pick a favourite, it would probably be linguini :)

  5. Helen says

Its difficult to name one favourite type of pasta as I just love Pasta. Lasagne, Tagliatelle, Spaghetti, Linguini are all my favourites.

  6. Jeff Wolf says

We had some in Puglia a couple of years ago which is a local type of pasta – I think they were called orecchiata – ‘little ears’ in English. I haven’t seen them over here but they were delicious.

  7. Sarah Morris says

My favourite pasta is fusilli pasta, used instead of spaghetti with a traditional bolognese sauce, it picks up far more of the flavour.

  8. debbie davies says

i love all pasta especially Tagliatelle with a lovely creamy bacon and mushroom sauce yum! naughty but very nice!!

  9. maxime goodwin says

Hmmmmmm after pondering this question fo a few minutes as i LOVE pasta! it has to be Tagliatelle i love it with a beef brisket ragu or with chicken bacon and cream yum :)

  10. Alice Monk says

Fusili! Mainly because I came up with this joke whilst stacking packets of them on the shelves:
What did the pasta say when he had a close call?
    (Phew, silly ;) )

  11. nicola Seckington says

My favourite pasta is lasagne , i love it, its sooooo gorgeous, salad and garlic bread with it , just perfect.

  12. Linda Thorn says

    My favourite is fusilli
    And a cheese sauce,
    With extra cream,
    No crunch and a bite,
    Just smooth a sheer delight

  13. Francesca Light-Wilson says

I love penne … I like ‘easy to eat’ pasta and penne is so much easier to eat than spaghetti and the like :-)

  14. sian hallewell says

It depends what I’m cooking with it,but one of my regulars is fusilli- find its great for hanging onto a sauce

  15. Erin Satterly says

Each type of pasta works best with a particular sauce.
However, the ones I seem to use most often are linguini, I love them al dente

  16. Jess Mandeville says

I’ve got a real thing at the moment for mini-pasta of all shapes. It’s a bit more expensive than ‘normal sized’ pasta but I seem to eat less when it’s the baby pasta which is good for my diet!

  17. Alicia Roberts says

I love pasta alla genovese – the carby goodness of potatoes and pasta in one dish. The perfect comfort food!

  18. Shonaigh Mudie says

Very nice giveaway, lovely bowls. Often use the ragu sauces. Pasta is such a quick and easy meal, especially when you are lazy and just cook for one! Recently enjoyed making homemade pasta, surprisingly easy.

  19. Jay Scales says

This time of year it has to be rigatoni – we’re all about the thick heavy sauces in winter, and rigatoni is perfect!

  20. Lorraine Carter says

I like Farfalle (bow-shaped) pasta and Orecchiette(ear shaped pasta-tiny, great for minestrone soup) because they look so inviting when cooked . And any seafood pasta recipe gets my vote -yum

  21. Lynda Pace Avery says

I just like pasta FULL STOP. What a great giveaway, great flavours and the bright linens a splash of colour for these grey days.

  22. Louise Hutchings says

I love Giant pasta shells, As you can stuff and bake them they’re just swell.
I like to stuff mine with courgette and ricotta as well, They taste fabulous with a yummy smell.
They’re something different from your everyday pasta dish, and with ragu sauce they taste delish.

  23. Hayley Wells says

I love conchiglie as it always holds plenty of sauce like little pockets :) When making soup I love the mini stellatini, so pretty!

  24. Emily Hutchinson says

Spirali I love for pasta salad, for some reason it’s so much nicer than the usual pasta ‘twists’

  25. K Mayers says

Almost certainly Linguine, though I do have a penchant for ravioli as you fill it with anything that takes your fancy :)

  26. D.Jennings says

My kids love spaghetti with chopped up pieces of grilled bacon and scrambled egg mixed in and topped with a bit of dark soya sauce and grated cheese!

  27. sarah wallis says

i like Tagliatelle , as i love carbonara sauce with it. Sometimes i cook tagliatelle and add pesto and grated parmasan which is a quick delious lunch

  28. Amanda Wakefield says

Conchiglie…agree with the other poster who said it’s lovely when they fill up with the sauce….it kinda pops in your mouth!

  29. ClairejB says

Macaroni – I do like Macaroni cheese – nom! We eat a lot of pasta in our house (I’m a bit of a lazy cook, LOL!) & get through a lot of Ragu! It’s quick, easy and tasty so why not? :) I’d love to win. :)

  30. Kelly Hooper says

Lasagne sheets :) its definitely the families favourite especially when they get a bowl homemade chips on the table for mopping up the remaining sauce ;)

  31. alison c says

My favorite pasta dish is lasagne but for a quick dish i dont think you can beat pappardelle with olive oil and garlic.

  32. Helen Aiken says

I think Fusilli is probably my favourite type of pasta. My daughter calls it spirals and likes it much more than Penne. lol.
