Easy batch cooking AKA freezer fillers!
Homemade Ready Meals!
If you want dinner in a hurry or do not want to cook every night these easy batch recipes will feed a crowd, or can be frozen for another evening.
With homemade ready meals you can cook once and eat twice or more!
Some recipes just do not work so well scaled down, so it makes sense to cook a batch, saving time, effort and fuss. Portion for your household and freeze for another day for when you don't want to, of have the time to cook.
Curries and casseroles are usually even better when made ahead, and reheated to serve!
Some of our favourites; I try and have at least 5 different homemade ready meals for 2 in the freezer at all times.
- Slow cooker beef chilli (6-8 portions)
- Chicken Madras (6 portions)
- Spanish chicken and rice (4-6 portions)
